Re-Parole for Afghans in the United States

Please enjoy this free video from Charles Legal Services!  It's been almost two years since Kabul fell on August 15, 2021.  Many Afghans were admitted to the United States shortly after. Unfortunately, the Special Immigrant Visa and asylum processes have not gone as smoothly as hoped.  The Afghans who were granted two-year parole are in danger of their lawful status.  They need re-parole if they have not submitted an asylum claim.  They also need a renewed Employment Authorization Document (EAD) to continue supporting themselves and their families trapped behind enemy lines.  This video will explain the re-parole process and how to obtain a new EAD.

More information on this process is available on the USCIS Website
here.

You can confirm your class of admission by accessing your latest I-94
